The IBEW Local 26 Field Internship is an opportunity for paid on-the-job training in a professional construction environment and the gateway to a lucrative and fulfilling career as a union electrician. You must be ready to arrive at work on time, often early in the morning at 5:00 or 6:00 a.m., and work safely on jobsites where our standards are high.

A Field Electrical Intern:

- May work unlimited hours between the 2nd Monday in May and the 2nd Friday in September, also between the 2nd Monday in December and the 2nd Friday in January.

- Must be 17 years old or older.

- The rate of pay is a minimum of $15.00 per hour. If you have worked more than 500 hours, then a minimum of $16.00 per hour is the rate of pay.
