How to Apply for the Apprenticeship

Current applications submitted will be for the class of 2024. The deadline for these applications will be March 29, 2019.

Step 1. Complete and submit either our online application or complete an application in person at one of the locations listed below.

Step 2. Regardless of which format you use to submit your application you must bring your social security card, valid government ID, in person to one of the sites listed below. Your application will not be treated as active until you complete this step. 

Step 3. Upon receipt of the $25.00 money order for processing fee and submission of all required documents, you will be assigned a test date. You must be 18 years or older. You must then submit a copy of your High School Diploma or GED certificate. An official copy of your high school transcript grade 9-12 (showing one year of Algebra I with a passing grade). GED recipients must also submit copies of your official high school transcript. Apply online. For further information, please call the JATC at 301-429-2575.
